Wide Compatibility with Third-party PlatformsThe Camera E1 is compatible with major platforms like Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Home. It not only fully supports HomeKit Secure Video including end-to-end encryption and local recognition, but also can stream to Google and Alexa smart displays, which makes it universally compatible.
Plus, you can now trigger features like Pan/Tilt movements, Privacy Mode, and more within those platforms and voice assistants by activating Aqara Home scenes.
Superior Image Quality and PT Tracking
Super-crisp 2K resolution sensor and wide-angle f/2.0 lens are equipped with Pan/Tilt motors that provide a 360° viewing angle. Also, the E1 has a more advanced 940 nm infrared backlight, that won't bother you at night.
On-device Detection for Local Automation
The built-in NPU supports motion, person and sound detection for recording a video, or triggering an automation. All the features work locally, even without internet.
Advanced Privacy Protection
Privacy Mode: By activating the Privacy Mode feature in the Aqara Home app, the E1 rotates to your preferred angle, such as facing a wall, and goes to sleep for added privacy.
Mic-Muting Option: In addition, the mic-muting option allows you to disable the microphone, ensuring added privacy by preventing audio capture and transmission when activated.
Advanced Wi-Fi Connectivity
The E1 comes with next-gen Wi-Fi 6, offering higher speed and reduced latency in live viewing, while also supporting WPA3 for enhanced security.
MagicPair Experience
With Bluetooth 5.2 and our new MagicPair feature in Aqara Home, pairing the E1 is now simpler than ever. You can also control the E1 via Bluetooth even without an internet connection.
Local and Cloud Storage
Apart from the encrypted cloud storage options, the E1 also supports local storage with a microSD card of up to 512 GB, and it can be backed up to the SMB 3.0 NAS storage.

To address sustainability, the E1 uses a USB-C port and doesn't include an adapter. It offers multiple installation options: horizontal, screw mount, or wall anchors.
